Lake Toba

Lake Toba is the most famous lake in Indonesia. It is 100 km long and 30 km wide thus many people agree that Lake Toba is the biggest lake in the world. An island in the middle of the lake is Samosir Island at an altitude of 1.000 meters.

Raja Ampat Islands

People commonly know Papua for its unique culture, unique outfit (such as koteka), and abundant natural resources. Lorentz National Park

The Park lies within Irian Jaya Province, and the administrative Jayawijaya, Paniai, Merauke (Southern Division), Fak-fak, Mimika and Enarotali districts. It stretches for over 150km, from the central cordillera mountains in the north to Arafura Sea in the south. Access is by air from Jayapura to Wamena and Timika 04º00'-5º15'S, 137º14'-138º20'E.

Mansinam island

Mansinam island is the island area of 410.97 hectares located in the Bay Doreh, District south of Manokwari, West Papua province, Indonesia. Around 154 years ago, precisely on 5 February 1855, two German evangelist, C.W. Ottow and Johann Gottlob Geissler, set foot for the first time on the island Mansinam. The two missionaries arrived on the island is Mansinam, after going through a very long journey. By using the Abel Tasman ship, they traverse the ocean Tanjung Harapan, Batavia, Makassar, Ternate, and finally arrived on the island Mansinam in the year 1855.

Indra Puri Mosque

Indra Puri Mosque is the oldest mosque in Indonesia that is greatly influenced by Hindu architecture style. In 1874 A.D., this place was used to inaugurate Tuanku Muhammad Daud Syah as Sultan Alaiddin Muhammad Daud Syah.

Lake Laut Tawar

The existence of Lake Laut Tawar among the Aceh people is a proud for them regarding that it is a frequently visited destination either by local or foreign tourists. The water is not only used by people living in Central Aceh District, but also people who live in other surrounding districts.
